CHARLIE CHAPLIN'S "THE CIRCUS" (1928) THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BUY

The storyline from the film shows this. Chaplin’s tramp falls in enjoy with Merna, who returns his affection. Then, a tightrope walker named Rex (performed by Henry Bergman) will come onto the scene and Merna right away falls in really like with him. Why? Because his act is daring and risky even though Chaplin’s clown act has much less Status.
